Dr. Mack is a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Texas, as well as an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Mack completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor, and was awarded the prestigious Bronze Hammer Award for excellence from his peers and mentors. He then traveled abroad to pursue his training in the specialties of knee and shoulder surgery, observing and assisting world-renowned orthopedic surgeons in Bern and Fribourg, Switzerland and Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Mack is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Texas Orthopedic Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Houston Orthopedic Society and the Harris County Medical Society. He has written, published and spoken at national orthopedic surgery meetings on knee arthroscopy and ACL reconstruction.
